Terms of Service
These terms govern your booking and use of services from Meridian Detail LLC ("Meridian Detail," "we," "us"), a California limited liability company operating a mobile auto-detailing business in Newport Beach, California. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Our services
Meridian Detail provides collector-grade mobile detailing — including exterior and interior detailing, ceramic coating, and paint protection — performed at your location across Newport Beach and surrounding Orange County. We are a detailing service and do not perform paint correction or body repair; we are not a body shop. We bring our own water, power, and equipment.
Booking & deposits
When you book, you provide accurate contact, vehicle, and location details. A 10% deposit may be collected at booking through our payment processor (Stripe) to reserve your appointment; the remaining balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Prices shown are starting prices and may vary based on vehicle size and condition; we'll confirm pricing before work begins.
Cancellations & rescheduling
- Free rescheduling up to 24 hours before your appointment.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment incur a $75 fee.
- No-shows are charged the full service amount.
Your responsibilities (mobile service)
Because we come to you, you agree to provide:
- Safe, legal, and reasonable access to the vehicle and a space to work (driveway, garage, or parking area).
- Any access information needed (gate codes, parking instructions).
- Disclosure of relevant vehicle condition (pre-existing damage, sensitive surfaces, modifications).
Please remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before your appointment. We are not responsible for items left inside.
Results, disclaimers & limitation of liability
We take great care with every vehicle. However, services are provided "as is," and we make no guarantee of specific results, and we do not warrant the removal of every imperfection. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects, or for issues arising from a vehicle's prior condition. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Meridian Detail LLC's total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages.
If you have a concern about a completed service, contact us promptly and we'll do our best to make it right.
Payment
Payments and deposits are processed securely by Stripe. You authorize the charges associated with your booking, including any applicable cancellation or no-show fees described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Orange County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
