Meridian Detail LLC ("Meridian Detail," "Meridian," "we," "us"), a California limited liability company, provides collector-grade mobile auto detailing in Newport Beach and surrounding Orange County, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the privacy rights you have under California law.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to schedule and deliver our service:
- Booking & quote details — your name, email address, phone number, the service address where we'll detail your vehicle, vehicle details (year/make/model), your selected service, preferred date and time, and any notes you add (e.g. gate code, parking, vehicle condition).
- Waitlist — your email address, if you join our early-access list.
- Payment information — deposits and payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered with Stripe and is not stored on our servers; we receive only confirmation and limited transaction details.
- Usage data — standard analytics (pages viewed, device/browser, approximate location, referring site) collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and perform your detailing appointment.
- To send booking confirmations and appointment reminders (by email, and by text/call if you choose that contact method).
- To respond to quote requests and questions.
- To send early-access and occasional marketing emails to waitlist members (you can opt out anytime).
- To understand and improve our website and measure our advertising.
Cookies, analytics & advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and improve our ads. These tools set cookies and may share certain online identifiers with Google and Meta. Under California law, this activity may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and our booking database.
- Resend — sending confirmation and reminder emails.
- Stripe — processing deposits and payments.
- Google & Meta — website analytics and advertising.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and customer records for as long as needed to provide our service, maintain records, and comply with legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
- Access a copy of your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete your personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard the data you entrust to us.

Our services and website are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Effective" date above when we do.
